To most car guys, we usually take comments about our cars or driving skills more seriously than others. If a guy just spent $200,000 plus on a new car, and someone called it "aging." To me, it's not the best way to make new friends.

I was called out by a Ferrari owner Sat. night. I am usually a low key guy and never advertise my car. But we were in a club and I saw a friend and were talking San Diego Car show, and he wanted to see a picture of my car, so I showed him the pixs on my phone. His buddy shows up (I guess alcohol does make you brave or stupid), talking about his new F430.
All I said was F430 is a great car but a bit aging, wooh BIG MISTAKE. I got called out right there and then. I told him to calm down and we can meet next Saturday somewhere, I just wanted to make sure he is not half baked.
So I got the basic GT800 package from EVOMS and is planning to cheat a bit by getting 109 octane and setting the car up on high boost, what do you guys think my chances are?

My friends 430 running around 510 brake (on race mode), myself around 590 brake (1.1bar)... wasn't a couple of car lengths, I smoked him bigtime!!!
It will be embarrassing, even if you clock your boost down, I wouldn't even bother with race gas, your just wasting your money on him and let him know it

Well, I guess you may have a point. However, facts remain facts, hence the introduction of 458, I guess. I was not trying to be rude nor trying to make friends as I chose my friends carefully...
