I was called out by a Ferrari owner Sat. night. I am usually a low key guy and never advertise my car. But we were in a club and I saw a friend and were talking San Diego Car show, and he wanted to see a picture of my car, so I showed him the pixs on my phone. His buddy shows up (I guess alcohol does make you brave or stupid), talking about his new F430.

All I said was F430 is a great car but a bit aging, wooh BIG MISTAKE. I got called out right there and then. I told him to calm down and we can meet next Saturday somewhere, I just wanted to make sure he is not half baked.

So I got the basic GT800 package from EVOMS and is planning to cheat a bit by getting 109 octane and setting the car up on high boost, what do you guys think my chances are?

 

LOL you will anahilate the 430 with the GT800, and its not cheating using race gas , its run what you brung . i had some fool a while back in a zr1 call me out, but he got cold feet. good luck be safe.

 

F430 stock or Novitec? On high boost you will walk him hard.

Won't even be a race. You'll kill him. ALWAYS bring your "A" game to a race. If you gonna beat someone, might as well beat him bad.

I beat a stock F430 on my 24/18 package running low boost (1.1bar) Not sure if his car was F-1 tranmission or stick but don't think it would have mattered..... You will destroy him unless he's got the Novitec TwinSC package....

 

Run him and please video tape it. I would love for a F430 owner to talk smack but most in Houston seem to know about the fast P-Cars.

 

at the last 60-130 event i think i was a second faster then the red f430 that was there at 1.2bar of boost with gt28's

 

i think a stock 996tt vs a stock f430 ... the 996tt would lose..

 

Sure but the guy talking smack didn't ask if the p-car was stock. Time to be taught a lesson. There is always someone bigger and badder regardless of how much your car costs.

 

Not sure about that. I think the Turbo would need at least a flash to be competitive. I think a healthy 430 traps almost 120mph in good conditions.

Your GT800 will destroy the 430

 

if i had to guess, i would say that from 60-130 you would probably leave him by about 15-20 car lengths...
getting most of those car lengths after 100

 

That is something to keep in mind
