PSM/ABS Module Fried.

Hi Guys,
Apparently due to a less than ideal coil-over install on my '02 996TT the ABS & PSM wires have been stressed and as a result shorted out the PSM/ABS module. Had the sensors replaced but further testing indicates fried module.
Where is this item location in the vehicle. Would like to pull it out and do further diagnostic on the unit it self. The Stealer is quoting $3500 + installation for a new one! Seems excessive.
If beyond recovery might it be piratical to locate a used replacement?

All thoughts most welcome.

Cheers,

J
