Can anyone ID this engine bay?

Can anyone tell me if this is a stock 2002 911, or if it has an aftermarket turbo kit installed?

I am interested in this car, but will have to drive 6 hours to see it...

Thanks for your help!

Father Flanagan

This seems to me more similar to one of the thrust engines of the Space Shuttle than it is to a 996TT stock setup. Perhaps the “Super “V” Charged sticker is also a bit of a giveaway…

LOL agreed. Not stock at all. Has an Evoms Super Charger. That is a C2 Carrera.

Yup, looks like it. For what it cost to do that, could have bought a turbo...

The top car looks blue, has different boost hose(no Logo), different oil fill cap.

I can't read the original serial number on the intercooler, maybe someone has better eyes than me !!

I can tell you it's definitely not stock.... and it's not a turbo, so if he's advertising as stock then, you should call BS.

How much? If it is not big diff, better get the Turbo.
Reason: There is room to grow. You will thank yourself later.

AGree! 100% I rode in my friend's mother's C2S and it was ok...but nothing like a tt. And when they rode in my tt they were sick that they got the C2S...

They now have a TT

Personally, I'd skip this car and go with a tt if you're looking at a FI Porsche.

A modded 996 na car vs a tt

A car like this might be quick... while it lasts....

It won't last. the regular 996 engine isn't that durable and the drivetrain components aren't up to long term use of that additional power. By contrast, the 996tt is built to take it and LAST. There isn't any choice here. If it were dirt cheap and you thought you could dump it after a very brief period, well..go have fun. For a real car in the real world the factory 996tt is SO much better and won't blow apart on you like this one will.
