you can always buy a Ford GT, add a $45k TT kit and break 220mph+ in a standing mile.....easy.

120-150k depending. I don't think they are ever going to decrease very much.
Probably better off buying a Gallardo and having underground do a build for you.

no motor build needed. see my Mile speed in my signature.

It will cost you $130-150k to get a GT these days. These cars are holding their value very nicely.

better off? meaning cheaper?

I have a G and for me I would prefer to TT a GT than a G.

I noticed you have both. What is it about the GT that you like better than a gallardo. Both are excellent platforms to work with. But having both what do you like about one over the other?

as for cost. I think it is a wash. I don't think a G is any cheaper to build than a GT. Starting cost may be lower, but if I am not mistaken the kits are more expensive than for the GT. So in the end price doesn't seem like much a factor as does preference. Both cars are lookers so that is not a factor either.

for me it comes down to looks mainly and the way the GT rides. You would be suprised how nice the Gt rides with stock tires on it.

I like older cars so the lines on the GT suit me much better than the modern sharp edge style of the G. The Lambo rides kinda firm and rough (compared to the GT).

It takes about the same amount of cash to upgrade these cars so that pretty much is a wash.

The 900 whp kits on the G's don't have a warranty, my GT has a 1 or 2 year warranty on it (can't remember the duration). To get a warranty of a Lambo TT you have to move up in price.

good perspective. I'd have a hard time picking one over the other. The lambo probably gets the warranty when it comes with an engine build, I would guess, which raises the cost considerably as well. Aren't the super high hp ubr kits done with engine builds?

Cheaper
You can pick up a used G for ~80-90k and have a ~1400-1500awhp build done for the cost of the GT and 45k turbo kit, or you could do the 1kwhp for much less.

I wouldn't kick either one out of the bed, lol

The 50k build form Underground does include a build IIRC, although it has been a while since I have looked into it. I know it costs closer to 100k to duplicate the Nera build they did. That car is amazing for sure!

Can you clarify if you wanted to do it in the 1/4 mile?
