TT Aerokit

I have always loved the factory Aerokit rear spoiler. Does anyone know if this would work on my TT Cab or would the electric boot cover hit the spoiler?

I would think that it would work..Try calling Matt at Meridian Automotive. BTW since you are only in NH I am going to have to take a cruise up north and check out your CAB...I always cruise old RT1 to Salisbury...

Good call on Matt. Let me know when your coming up this way. Maybe we can switch rear deck lids to see if yours works on mine!

I have a feeling it will clear - not by much though
Eric go measure the clearence when the boot cover is over the current tail and get the dimensions of the of aero tail - you'll figure it out then

I just measured it. There's about 7" from the bottom of the boot to the top of the spoiler. It seems like enough, but it does extend out diagnolly over the louvers. I'm not sure how far the Aerokit spoiler extends over the louvers.

Darren - no sign - one of the reasons I backed out - that and the 40K hit they wanted me to take on my current TT...

ESK - you should buy the lip and have the side skirts, rear bumper guards and lower rear bumper painted anyway...Then you only have the wing left
I referred Dave (Dave MA C4S) to a great shop here in Boston and I can hook you up too....
Definitely call me whenever you are ready to hear the fabspeed...

I hate the stock TT wing - no offense...
My brother had an 00 996 C4 cab with a Gemballa wing (like Ken's but without the TT part that comes up) and it looked SICK!!!
If you look at the evoloutin of the 911TT a fixed wing is a must!! the new aerokit sort of reminds me of the 993 turbo S rear bi-plane wing....My favorite Porsche to date!!

I was only going to have the bumperettes done since the lowers are already black and the front lip got sandblasted on my last car. I do admit they would look a lot better, but don't you think I might get a better price if I did the wing at the same time?
