I recently purchased an 01 996 Turbo that is setup with a Roock 550 package. I've tried contacting Roock but no luck. Their website doesn't appear to have been updated since 2008. Are they still around?

Nah, I think their shop is the shabby little thing in Marietta Georgia. Fabian Rook does business from there and I see them occasionally at Petit LeMans or just around town. I'm pretty sure they are still in business. Of course I cannot say that I've seen them personally since Petit Lemans of 08'.
You should do a LOT of research before you give those guys a dime. They are infamous in the community for taking money and not delivering.
They even made it onto an episode of "Repo Man" a few years back when the german banks wanted a bunch of cars back that were shipped to the US that had German liens on them.

I bought a set of gt2 wheels from them a few years ago. they came perfect, exactly as described. overall a good experience.

If you call the Atlanta office they will contact Fabian Roock and he will return your call.
I have seen a lot of bad press about Roock Motorsports/Fabian Roock myself, but I have to tell you, my dealings with them so far have not been bad at all, a little odd, but not bad.
I purchased my 2003 996 TT X50 from them few months back(Leno Joseph sold it to me). This is a long story that I will keep short, I made a deal with Leno, agreed to drive up and get car, 2 hours before I was supposed to leave to get the car Leno called and said not to leave there was an issue with the title. This of coarse scared me, he said he would get it straigtened out and ship me the car at his expense. It took a couple of weeks, he called and said everything was good, shipped me the car on his dime, let me have it inspected at local Porsche shop, had it dynoed to be sure that the 600HP Roock package was installed, it was. Here is the kicker, he did all of this without me paying a dime thus far. I guess he felt obligated because I had a trip planned, hotel reserved, etc. I had some questions about the car, so he had Fabian call me from Germany to discuss the car. I purchased car and have been very happy with it thus far. I am looking at some upgrades so I put a call into Fabian last week, he returned my call the next day.
I am not vouching for them, I am just stating from my dealings with them, they have been pretty good so far.
Oh yeah, forgot to mention, the clutch slipped on the dyno at around 480AWHP, Leno shipped me a new Sachs clutch, no charge.

This guy Fabian Roock is a crook he never does what he says he will do. my 911 was at his shop for almost two months and i gave him almost $3200.00 for upgrades....I finally had to file a lawsuit and get my car back.........

Agree stay away, do not get involved with them, there are many good reputable tuners out there who can help you with anything on your car. There is nothing in the "Roock 550" package that you will need them directly for. There certainly will not be any warranty. He is a crook.
OK....now that we've all made you feel like you bought a problem car
Is there a problem with your car? (more the reason we're all here anyway
