I assume pulley that runs all the belts is the same on tip and manual, so yes it would help a tip car too...

The cheapest option is to run the GT3RS/Cup pulley. It is lighter than the GT3 and the 996TT pulley and can be had online for ~$75 plus hardware. Here is what you need. If the Cup cars run it, it is proven.

996 102 017 95 Crank pulley
999 025 174 02 Washer
996 102 550 80 Bolt

Not necessarily, but not a bad time to replace it. It is most likely worn in to your stock pulley and the other pulleys may be off enough to induce some slipping. It is only $35 for a belt.

Not sure exactly you mean? The GT3RS/Cup pulley is the same size, but is half the weight and made of aluminum instead of steel. So the belt will not change unless you use a substantially smaller diameter pulley.

has anyone seen the way a stock pulley fits? if you haven't have someone show you. it is prone to break on mod cars, and if it does, there's no way to fix it besides replacing the main shaft.. cheapest insurance i've seen... if my car was stock, i'd still change it!!!
