light weight pulley
Hi,
My mechanic has installed the pulley. Is not easy remove the old one!!!
He could install the same belt but he needed to change the belt turns from the defection roller. THIS COULD BE DANGEROUS???
He will go test it...

See the images...and find the differences.
VAGscum was the first to mention it and then to back up his point he puts a picture of a GT3 and a GT3RS pulley together showing they are the same size. They are, just not the same size as a TT...
The part number for the belt is written on evoms site, it is a GT3/GT3RS belt 996-102-151-93
Also, look at AMS website they say:
The EVOMS pulley is also slightly smaller (same size as the OEM GT3 pulley) which under drives the accessories, thus reduces parasitic drag and further improves engine efficiency
Underdrives the engine accessories at the OEM specified range. ~15% (Same as the OEM GT3/RS)
And they do include the belt when you buy it for a TT

The car is at the mechanic for install the pulley and for check leaks.
Tomorrow I will go drive it and after I will tell you about the differences.
Please can you tell me the length of the GT3 belt?

Thanks,
VS
Ok got this done this am combined with taking some more baffles out of the exhaust which involved quite some engineering. Firstly its a MAJOR job, you need a jack to support the engine as the 4 bolts for the plate which protects the exhaust from the flywheel bursting loose & hang the exhaust on, also are engine supports. I did this with 2 other people and there is certainly no way you can get the GT3 RS fan belt back on your own. I will post pics later
Does it change the driving experience, not in anyway like simply fitting the Sprint throttle booster box does but I'm sure it all helps
