Dave,

You need a 2nd home in the sunnier climes to run those puppies. Alternately we can keep them warm for you down here during the winter months; make sure they're ready for the summer

Excellent post!!!!!. I tried it today worked perfect. I used my switch for the rear wing. Don't need that switch because i have a GT2 wing.

Circuit board is removed from Liftmaster remote case. A few wires and you have a cool mod. This will work with the ash tray insert as well.
nice. i have the pioneer z120 and i like it alot.

the part number for the garage door opener buttons includes both buttons?

I remember it's one button per.

You need to order two to fill both spots.

Very nice trick for the garage door opener. I will order the same and do it.
I also found another guy who did hook up the switch to the front window opener so it's back-lit...

Do the photos in the original post work for any of you? About 2/3 of them don't load for me.

Using the raw car voltage will be detrimental to your openers health.
However, a simple voltage regulator circuit would fix that. Pick a switched 12v supply and you're set.

This is only one of many easy ways to get 3v from your car's 12v (actually around 13.8v when running) supply.
Some openers use 9v batteries. A quick Google search will bring up numerous ways to get 9v from 12v too.
