996 Tiptronic 60-130 Times

Can anyone with a 996 Tip post their mods and 60-130 times (preferably with stock or hybrid K16's on pump gas).

I am trying to figure out why my car is so slow. Apparently, my tip is shifting from 3rd to 4th too early, but I want to see where other people's numbers are at.

My only power mods are exhaust, diverter valves, k16 hybrids and softtronic tune.

It is running 60-130 of 10.1.

Any help is appreciated!!

Todd's tip is the fastest known 16g in the universe (6.33). The next fastest 16g car is an EPL car running 7.0 and it is a stick.

I do not want to compare myself against the fastest...I am trying to benchmark against other daily drivers like myself running pump gas with similar mods to myself.

Todd has injectors, I/C, a ton of piping, another fuel pump, EBC, weight reduction, etc...

Seal Grey Matte has 16g's and pretty much no other mods. He has a manual, but that shouldn't account for an additional 3 seconds 60-130. 10seconds doesn't seem right. Do you think your tranny is slipping?

Tranny is not slipping. I was told it is shifting a bit early into fourth, but not slipping.

I just spend $5k getting the tranny rebuilt, so there should not be any troubles with it.

My car is a daily driver. Been driving it to work since Monday. Granted I'm on my 650-670rwhp pump gas settings (BC @ 18psi and Timing Control @ -2) LOL! Hell I even drove it in the rain on Monday ... eeek!!! Forgot to mention that I also drive 60 miles a day!

Give the guys at Boost Logic a call if you want to turn your car into a MONSTER daily driver!

Not interested in a monster (I am too young and like speed too much )

I am interested in getting my car up to where it should be though. Any idea what Tips 996TT run stock? My mods should add ~150-170 hsp.

Shoot man I'm probably younger than you are I'm only a measly 25. Bmoores, OSInspector, and I are the "young guns" on the forum LOL! I understand the speeding part, but it's all about the exhaust to hide yourself LOL! I roll with my Switzer on so I'm stealth like hauling ***!

I don't remember what I did stock, I don't think I ran it. I know with a GIAC Stage 2 tune on Stock K16's I ran a 8.3 or something I THINK. Matt (Lil Powell) may get in here and correct me.

There's one on the 60-130 list at 9.1. Not sure of mods...

You have a 6-speed right?

I am only 24

What part of town are you in? I live near Rice Village and work downtown.

Yup my car is a 6speed and I'm a vet. when it comes to shifting, so my shift times are on par with the best LOL!

When Tony @ EPL comes out with his TCU upgrade you should check it out. It will really improve your time!

I'm in the Pearland Area near the Beltway on Pearland Parkway. I work in the hood... Westpark and Gessner. Paulie can verify this LOL!
