Okay, anyone want to know what it is like to drive your tt 1500 miles?

NOT BAD, not bad at all! Both ways I split up into 2 stints of 5 hours a piece. 1500 miles and 0 tickets that is a record for me!!

On the way home from PA/NJ with 600 horses under foot I found a nice deserted 3 lane stretch of highway somewhere in the middle of nowwhere Ohio and put my foot down and didn't let up until

180 MPH

was reading on the speedometer. It was still accelerating but I decided to let off. Brought it down to 85 and not five minutes later I got a bleep of laser on the V1. Slowed down to the speed limit crested a hill and low and behold old smokey bear was shooting laser. Thank you God for sparing me some jail time!! 180 mph past smokey and I believe I would be posting bail!!

722 miles home I averaged 80 mph while still getting 23 mpg even with bursts up to 140-150 on occasion. All this with 600 ponies at my disposal. WHAT A CAR!

PORSCHE: THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE!!

All in all a very good trip and quite comfy in the old RED BEAST!

You done us proud Buddy. I did 184 once and backed out (she was still pulling strong) out of fear...

I love that my ImagineAuto chip still gives me 22mph on the freeway hehe.

Something is messed up with my car then!!
My onboard (three clicks form boost readout) shows 10.8 MPG!! It was 10.6 at one point but got a bit better with the 100 octane...

Somthing is VERY messed up!!!! I am 17 and trust me my right foot isn't light, and my readout is always above 18MPG (a lot of city in there).

Buddy, glad you got home safely and without any tickets. That's pretty unbelieveable considering the power you have.

Speaking of power...dont you mean "700" Horses?!?!

MSINDI,

Do you do a lot of city driving? If so, you are just fine. I average about 9-11 every tank full. I do almost all city driving, when I drive on the highway, I average about 22-23. No worries buddy.

Was the car solid at that speed? Any feeling of not being planted?

It's doing good so far... I was running too much boost last night as we shimmed the waste gates too tight. But now it's perky as hell and still running 22psi. I'm hoping to do a track run, since dynos are out for me soon....

Maybe this Wednesday, not sure.

PS Who said they were huge? They're efficient tho- I guess 4mm difference is significant though but that billet wheel sure likes to boost. To see a huge turo check out my pal's T88 on his Supra lol...
