I do not understand why people have to question a race. Just race. If you loose, you loose, no big deal. Unless you are racing for pinks

if I were you, I would do it from a dig. your tip will get better traction than his supercharged V8, IMO. You might get a car or so right off the bat. If he has a pulley, he will have even more torque on the low rpm's, bad for him, good for you. If you had a stick, I would recommend from a roll, 40-60mph, but with a tip, I'd recommend from 0. PM VividTx, he has a tip and he could advise you were you want to be. with your power, you should pull on a stock ZR1. But if he has a pulley, it will be closer. also make sure you are under half a tank of gas and if you haven't already yanked your spare tire, do so. those two combined are about 100lbs. In the 1/4 mile 100lbs can mean half a car to a car length.

 

You might have him off the line due to better traction, but in the end, I think he'll take you.

Take one for the team and have at it. Report back and at least we'll all know what to expect in the future.

Those cars are scary fast in a straight line. All he needs is a smaller pulley and he'll pick up 50 hp over his stock output. His car also weighs less than yours.

I am trying to get him to come out and play later tonight so we will see. He said he thinks he will loose since he dosent think his car will get traction. If I pull on him by even a 1/2 a car I will be happy because those cars are no joke.

100 Octane, or better if your car is tuned for better. Even with a '91/93 tune', race gas will matter.

dynodynamic is a little low on the reading but mid to upper 500 seem on par with dynodynamic dyno.
the ZR1 is lighter than ur car. i still think u should run him

 

Im running Meth+93 so I should have some good octane along with 1.4bars of boost

 

If you're going from a roll make sure you go on the 2nd honk LOL good luck
