Should I run my friends zr1?
A friend of mine has a 2010 zr1 and wants to run me. Last summer I ran against two of them. Once on the high end (160mph) I was able to pull slightly ahead and another time I was dead even but the run was very short. Now one of my friends has a ZR1 with what he says has a Lingenfelter pully and claims that his car is putting down 620ish whp and 700lb/ft. Anyone run a car like that before. I highly respect corvettes and know that they can be made very fast. I just dont know too much about how this car reacts with just a pully and dont want to get my *** totally kicked either. Is it worth doing the run from 40ish on up? (On a private track of course)

I am hoping the weather clears up here in chicago this weekend. If my Vinod lets me borrow his go-pro I will record the results for you. I just didnt know if just a pully on that car will give it that much more power.

I would run him Vince!! Seems like he has more to lose than you in this race... If you can run him up high I think your chances improve. Higher gears are so tall in Vettes than their acceleration really drops off.

Not the ZR1, Mike. It has essentially the same close-ratio 5th and 6th gears that my Z06 had.

Not sure on a dynodynamic but the car has put down mid to upper 500s and over 600lb/ft on mustang and dynojet dynos. Hes a good driver and like me he has big ***** and wont be afraid to go to some high speeds 150+ not like some people who will only race me from 60-100mph...you know who you are
