That's the message I get when I try to post replies to existing threads or send PMs. Literally, the only feature that functions on my account is the ability to start a new thread. Can one of the mods please sort this out?

.. and to clarify...

I am David Vespremi, the author of the "Car Hacks & Mods for Dummies" book. I post under the screen name "DavidV" so for the conspiracy theorists in the other thread, kudos for foiling my sinister plot of fooling you all. LOL

Now, I had originally intended to post my response in the first thread:

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...ghlight=dummies

... but since I can't post replies, I started this thread instead, referring back to the first one:

https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/...threadid=20730

... and unable to respond to either of the prior two threads, here I am starting another one.

Could one of the mods please sort out my account and consolidate these?

Many thanks,
DavidV

The smiley is a nice touch, it should have been in your first post where you should have written "oh...and I'm the author, and this is my first post." I'm not one to pick on newbie's, but when your first post is self promotion, and your second is to complain about the service when you haven't done a search to see why you can't respond, then feel free to eat this small flame.
And this is clearly OT.

(You seem kind enough, but this is not the forum for book sales regarding mods to cars that are not a TT or GT2).
