I'd like to know also, and would like to see a comparison dyno graph between the K16 billets and the K24 billets.

From the graph I've seen of the K16 billets, they come on sooner but looks like the torque curve starts to die at 5000 rpm.

I noticed in the post linked above that AMS said there was no more power to be had from the K24 over the K16, but i would think that the bigger hot side would give other benifits due to less back pressure and heat which would help sustain power for longer.

That could be due to 2 things, the turbo indeed falling off or tuning to save the motor. On my dyno graph you can see where the tuner takes over and kills a lot of torque in order to keep the bottom end safe. As I've always said, and most people know; Horsepower wins races, torque pulls stuff

Smaller turbos can produce the same hp as bigger turbos(within reason) but at what boost? Second question is what fuel needS to be used? Usually high boost setups need race gas. Bigger turbos do not need as much boost but are Laggier by nature. There are ways to reduce lag. One way is lightweight compressor wheels used. Other ways is free up the bottlenecks at the ic/hose junction by doing 2.5" piping and putting on some decent ics. Etc etc. I'm the end it all works together. A billet k/whatever wil not solve all your problems like a many may think. Unfortuanley they find out when it's too late. Car turns into a money pit yet had it been done right the first time you would save lots of cash and headaches.
Just my opinion
I've done many differmt setups between myself and my partner. Some were first of it's kind.
