That ZR1 sounds evil. I think the results are expected. From a roll, the ZR1 should win. From a dig the Turbo's pdk gets the launch and keeps it ahead through the quarter. I think any more distance than that and the ZR1 would start pulling on the pdkTT.

Looks like the ZR1 was slowly reeling the TT in but nevertheless a convincing win for the the turbo!!

Reeling in doesn't really matter much when you're already 4 lengths back by 160. LOL...

Great result for the TT, the pdk does a good work...But given this result, I doubt that the 997TT.2 only makes 500hp...I mean, come on, that ZR1 makes 620...and weights less.

Anyway....I LOVE the sound of the ZR1...and the car itself...if it didn't cost 150k $ I would love to have one....

The 500 was an underestimation of the crank hp, the PDK puts about 480 to the wheels. They are the fastest stock roll on car except maybe for the Veyron.

My friends ran my car pretty even on pump from 40-130 even though I had a 100 hp advantage. After 90 I started to pull slightly. The transmission never lets the car fall out of boost, one clutch engages before the other disengages.

Next time out I brought some race gas, (unbeknownst to him) and he asked "what happened, your car just took off"

PDK is the great equalizer. If this would have been from a dig...it would have been real bad for the ZR1.

I think the Italia will also beat it. A mag just trapped 132 in one.

The gearbox has to be the key....The laws of phisics can't be put upside down, a 500+ hp car can't beat a 620hp lighter one if both 6spd...

Imagine if the engine and gearbox are strong enough to cope with some serious modding...

Waitaminute, guys....the PDK is really for old guys who no longer have the skill to handle an old school (and most engaging) 996GT2.

Therefore I am about 10 to 20 years in front of both of you

As Jitsu said, it makes more than 500 HP. It dyno'd 480 to the wheels, which is a heck of a lot more than 500 at the motor. The PDK tranny is also faster and allows the car to stay boost between shifts..
