Although I did briefly chuckle upon reading that 'many buyers opted for the GT2 after realizing the cost of delete options to a Turbo', I personally sold my 2002 996TT (with sunroof) and bought a 2008 997.1 GT2 in April 2019 so I kind of represent that statement too.

I did also include an OEM sunroof delete panel with my 996TT to the new owner, meaning he needed to buy the headliner if he wanted to use it but had the steel OEM roof skin.

The roof helps me out greatly I'm a little on the tall side and feel a little less claustrophobic with it open which is almost all the time lol.
