Lamborghini Gallardo

Well this one was interesting; I thought I will probably be beat... I came to roadworks, German autobahn – no speed restrictions and in front of me the Lambo in question. It was 2005 not the current one. After we cleared the traffic he went for it and so did I. Great noise... but blimey, I was gaining. At 180mph+ I had to seriously back off the throttle not to ram him. We did this three times. Same result. Then we had to slow down due to traffic. He stuck his hand up through the side window and gave me the thumbs up. We then stopped at the petrol station and had a chat; he went “wow this is turbo right? I said yes, he went chipped? I went yes. He said what to 600bhp+. I said no 530. He said your car is so fast I could not beat you. I said nice Lambo” modestly then we said our goodbyes. Great Lambo noise but my 996TT takes the race. .

Is the g all stock? I hv exhaust and intake mods and it's probly abt the same speed as my frens nodded turbo, making abt 500hp w evom kit.

Main diff is probly gear ratio and gallardo's weak awd system. Turbo's awd is much better.

I have K24s and all power adders w/ flash and am able to walk on gallardos nicely. I ran it a few times with another forum member and it was the same result every time.... my car would walk past when in boost. Even if the lambo got a quick jump I would come from behind and pull ahead and keep pulling

I'm not surprised at all, many people think greatly about the G but sincerely is over rated... and I'm going to end it here because I don't want to rant the G...

3.6L running 1.2BAR is equivalent to about 7.5L of displacement. Not surprised at the result.

I ran an LP640 and modified Gallardo when I only had a flash with the 91 octane file.
