The rear decklid spoiler is what makes the 911. With the risk of offending carrera drivers, Ill say that w/o a wing, the porsche really looks quite ordinary.

I think the classic shape of the 911 looks better without a wing. The C4S is the best example of this with the wide rear fenders. I still like wings on a 911, but there's something about that uninterrupted sloping rear roofline that just looks amazing!

 

my shifter may be shorter than a rope, but it's hard as forged steel, man. no compensation needed.
