are the 315's going to rub? Other people have said that they're not as wide as the 295's that come stock on the tt, but when I put them side by side, the conti's are significantly wider than those, and they're significantly wider than the 285/30/19 bridgestone so2's that I have on right now.

Am I going to have to do anything to the car in order for them to fit? The car is currently lowered 30mm from stock height.

maxwell,
i don't think 315s are going to rub because lots people here are running this size without problem.

ot the size issue, here is the quote & pic from redlinerobert:
"I was extremely surprised to find out that the stock 295 30 18 is literally just as wide as the 315 25 19. I'm assuming that the 295 30 19 will be similar as well. The 315 is on the left. There is no difference, if any. If the Yoko is supposedly narrower than the Conti's, then it's also narrower than the 295's."

from just looking at them, they are really wide, but i haven't take down my stock tires so i can't really comment. however, u can see in the photo, the 295 seems even wider than 315. that's kinda weird to me!

yah, but when I just took the new 315, the original 295, and my current 285/30 the 315 was at least 1/4 inch wider than both of the others. I'd show you but I can't seem to upload a picture.

On another note, is everybody running the 315/25's on 19x11 rears?

i think 1/4 inch won't be a problem.

The offset of the wheel is going to play a big role in whether you will have a prblem with rubbing or not.
