Pioneer P4250 installed

took out the 80's stereo unit on my 996 and replaced somthing more to trend..

sorry bout the poor quality pic

I see that you still have the Porsche nav in your dash. Is the navigation integrated in the radio...

nah..just didn't bother to take it out..

whats the going rate for that unit and installation price?
did you only replace the head unit? hows the sound?

Bought mine for $900 trim included, with factory bose speakers, the quality is awsome! yes..I only replace the head unit

How did you manage to do that in terms of just replacing the head unit? Basically, all local installers are telling how big this project is to re-wire the whole thing, along with new speakers/amp...and I want is a new head unit to get myself out of stone age.

+ 1 - I inquired about replacing HU with nav ipod jack, and was told that the whole front end needed to be replaced. . .

My tech took 2 1/2 hrs to replace the whole front unit with the pioneer...
i guess u should start finding different local installers..
