what greddy boost contrill is best for a moded 996tt???

 

greddy profec , you just cant add it to you existing setup since you dont have one. your going to need a specific tune for it.

greddy profec b spec ii is the newest version, comes in black as pictured. used in my supra, and worked well. allows low and high boost settings. just 3 adjustments; set boost, boost level and gain. 3 are correlated so for example if turn up gain, must dial down boost level to get a balance. also has peak boost display, as well as an over boost warning and limiter that allows a % boost cut if max exceeded.

yes you need a map to get some values out of the way... there are 2 n75 maps and 2 boost maps... one target and one actual... all that needs to work together...
how much boost are you running now?

 

pretty sure you do. i know with softronics and proto this is the case. think part of the reason is cos the stock n75 boost solenoid is either deleted or aftermarket solenoid added to the system. and may be the 1.3boost limiter has to be removed but Im only guessing.

thanks mad !!! markski was at 1.3 until i installed a new bv, am thinking i have a leak as my drive to workshop came on. checked the code and it's the air injectors both sides. thought this was only in effect on warm up mode thanks in advance steve

You can run a EBC without retuning the car, but if you hit 1.3 the throttle plate will close so that is why when we do EBC we dont just disconnect the stock boost solenoid, we deactivate its functions.
