DSG or SMG type Tranny

I know that this will most likely come up with the 997s, but since there's very little traffic there, I figured I'd post here. Anyone know of Porsche considering a DSG/SMG to replace the Tiptronic Auto or even add it to the lineup? I know with the Audi DSG, it might be an option. I read on the BMW forums somewhere that (during a discussion of SMG) that the reason for no SMG type is the roughness in auto, however I know the throttle can be modulated to make it smoother. Does anyone know if Porsche is going to be considering the DSG or some other similar tranny for the next model?

this is definetely true. we have one and it is not remotely as smooth as an auto in A1 thru A6.
