Some videos during data logging
its doing low to mid 700 at 1.4 to 1.5 bar... thats where we stop... but we have seen it past 800 at 1.7 bar... I do not recommend it due to stock block...
Corey made 729 or something at 1.5 bar I think with the car slipping on dyno and he let off early...( btw it make HP up on top) so it would carried...
but it did make 759rwtq at 1.1 bar
that run the EBC was set too high- the gain that is.... once the gain was set to 5% the TQ came down accordingly and leveed off just a tad below 700- thats where we like it...

Mark it wasn't at 1.5 but i plan on doing it again at 1.8 or 1.9
To hot to go to the track today high 80's low 90's sorry Mark would have love to run some numbers today! Car is running so Strong! Man i see this and want a 997 now!

What size inducer? And what kind of pwr can one expect at full tilt on e85/q16?
I believe you can ask directly Scott the mod... he bought my partners white GT2 and it has those turbos... and since he also had a car with 30rs he can tell you tell you the difference... if any...

Not trying to sound like an *** but I do not disclose the particulars( thats not a off the shelf turbo)... I can tell you that we compared it to a 30r on the dyno.. we have 3 wheels.. we use the middle one.. the smallest one comes on too fast... whats the point if you cant put it on the ground... and a bigger one if you want 950+rwhp... this middle wheel does low 700s on our set ups at 1.45 bar... thus turn it up to 1.7 and add 100rwhp... it does not fall off like the 30r... actually it picks up after 6500... Palette has the same turbo... ask him...

NP
here is palettes dyno at around 1.5 bar... thats the same dyno where he did 759rwtq at lower boost..... he ran last year at 1.3 bar and ran 138+ mph...

Now Mark I say this in no disrespect... But why does everyone bring up torque? Torque REALLY does nothing when you are drag racing or roll racing. If we were towing trailers, then yes it really does make a difference. The fact it 610 / 747 would really scare me if you were going to turn up the boost super high. Torque is what kills these motors as we know it. That is our thought behind it at least. We killed ALL the torque we could because we want longevity on a high HP car. I made 868/729, sure torque could have been SUPER high, but there is no real point. We all know TQ makes it feel fast... HP wins the race
Regardless the car in the video def. seems like it's running bad ***! I love your exhaust setup sooooo much!

I only showed that because Corey forgot to turn down the gain on the EBC and had it at 32%... the TQ went thru the roof... I AGREE THATS SCARY... he called me from the dyno day and I told him to turn down the gain to 5 % ... thus the TQ came down to 680rw at 1.5+ bar... I agree 100% thats scary...

I can't wait for it to get cold here again... These 100*+ feeling days are no fun for turbo cars
I wanted to show you guys what goes into these turbos... a little bit at least...
Once I get them... I personally de assemble them... in a jig.... go over them to make sure there was no damage during shipment... had one mess up like that... Then I adjust the hotside so its in place and bolt up the custom neat backplate that bolts up to the stock hanger... then I tap a 1/8th Npt into the side cold side... set it accordingly on the jig so the hot/cold side are where they should be...... I also thread lock the bolts.. found that most Garretts leak... The I bolt up the catch can with our custom adaptor welded onto it for no leak connection at the turbo to catch can... I even send you the turbos with the catch cans on them... I cnc machine the catch cans so they fit perfectly...
BTW, I do all of this at no cost to the client... the turbo is only $1250 each... but you get so much more... you actually save many hours of fabbing and installation labor cost out of the clients hands.. as all you do is directly bolt up the turbo to the headers... the turbo is already adjusted accordingly... cold and hot sides... all you have to do is hook yo the lines, Wgs, exhaust, and ICs... done deal... Ive seen clients get charged a few thousand dollars just for the work I do for the client free of charge... just ask a few who had gt30rs put on and you will soon find out the big labor costs involved.. yet being a client myself for many years I thought outside the box and made it easy to install... and cost effective...

this is how the turbo is shipped... everything on.... ready to go on the header.....

We use a Dynojet there is no need to do so... Now certain dynos can be tricked to make INSANE amounts of torque by doing just like you said. Dynojets like the one Corey's was done on and the one mine was done on are not adjustable as far as I am aware.

Justin N or Tony will come in and explain hopefully as to how it all works. they are the genius behind it all. Justin wanted to be SUPER SUPER conservative. You would laugh if you knew how low we ran the timing even on a stock DME!
