Who here has Michelin PS2s on 19" HREs?

Specifically, what size rear wheels (width) and what size tires??Are you happy with PS2s or would you do PZero Rosso?

mansour,
done few. 11 or 11.5 on 315/25-19.

PS2's been good on my GT3 in 18s but we do experience more than usual problems with them in many sizes. Peter @ WE can jump into to discussion since we've been having nightmare with it on Steve's car. i believe Evan has issue with them as well. i guess my conclusion is if the tire is ''perfectly round'' than it's a good tire...

So can you do 315 rears on 11" wider HREs?
Would you then run the 235/35 fronts on 8.5" wide 19s?

Get COntinental Sport Contact II. There have been issues with the Michelines being not round and bulging sidewalls.

My 997 came with the new generation Conti sport contact II,s and after 1300 miles I'am very satisfied with them, very quite at speed, stick well into corners, smooth ride, they perform as well as the pilot sports I had on my 996.

i am running PS2 on my car and have not had any problems (my third set in a row). Handling is much better than with the rossos or conti 2 (i have tried them all) . I am running 235/35/19 on 19x 9 fronts and 315/25/19 on 19x12 rears and i love them.

I know your not looking for Conti... But for size comparison..

From the tirerack website.
315/25 ZR19 SL

10.5-11.5" rim width range....

Measuring rim width 11"

My HRE's were 11's and I ran the 315 conti's

No, it won't look funny. I currently run 235/35/19 on my front 8.5" HRE 540Rs and 315/25/19 on my rear 11".

ruiner - what brand tire? I know the Yoko AVS and Contis would be fine in 315 on an 11" rear but not so sure about the PS2s

Sorry for making this thread drag but I need to make a decision soon
