Ran a Viper RT 10 on PCH in Newport Beach today
I was cruising PCH this morning around 9:00am from Laguna to Huntington Beach. The roads were wide open and there were some great areas to open the throttle. In Newport Beach I looked in my rear view mirror to see a red Viper RT 10 coming up rapidly. We stopped at the light and I noticed his plates. They referenced that the car was built for speed (I do not want to give the exact lettering).
So I thought lets see how fast she really is. We both started off slow in first and I waited for him to hit the gas. He did……. At 100MPH I had two car lengths on him.
We then started again at 40MPH and again I pulled on him in second and third gear. Sorry no video because my wife had the camera.

Your car is really surprising...and that Viper owner didn't expect you to be so quick I bet..
BTW, if I may ask, how are you doing Robert?I hope fine bud.

robert tell me bone marrol transplant, having had a stroke and now getting better. i'm simpatco good luck. after my stroke i sliped of my clutch and lit em up infront of a cop he let me off when he saw the stroke thing.. i had lost all the strength on my left side. the clutch was a ***** (no feel)
Glad to hear you are ok, fast recovery and all the best!
Thanks all. I lost a lot of weight and strength but I can still drive..........
My Bone Marrow procedure came with a 40% mortality rate. Most do not make it out of the hospital and to spend 100 days in the hospital post transplant is the norm. I got out in 22 days. My bone marrow match came from Italy (no US matches for me).
Hopefully someone on the forum knows the Viper I ran Sunday.
