Need help quickly!

Working on installing rear intake pipeing and lowering the motor. I took out the engine mounts and the motor didnt budge an inch. I had a jack under the car the jack lowered but not the motor. Does any one have a DIY? Is tip cars different?

Thanks

Vince

my wrench is saying that you have to remove a bunch of stuff to get to it. Do you have a diy or is the mount just covered by the panal?

Wow! Are most tips that way? I get a bit of a drive-line vibration on heavy acceleration. I suspect this mount is the issue.

In the MR2 world, we used a two part urethane mix to fill in the 'voids' for these mounts. Judging from the looks of it, that could/would be a good and inexpensive fix.

This happened on the 4th lap at MSR during my one and only road course stint (16/16g's).

Oh yes it is. But can be made to look nice with a piece of cardboard and mold release agent sprayed on it.

Your torque must have been going crazy that day! You were running MS109 at high boost right?

I was running 1.3 bar. 550 "ish" lbs of torque. I cooked the ATF and overheated. The trans literally stopped working eventually. I had to let it cool completely before I drove her home.
