Do not put on the 997 Intake!
For all you wanting to put on the 997 Intake runners. DONT DO IT! 
I had installed them in March of this year and to my surprise, they are splitting like crazy! I could not believe it but after a closer look they have probably 7-10 stress cracks.
They cant be welded so they are basically junk! But not to Worry I will send them back and get new ones for the time being as i am having custom runners made so this wont happen again.
I will post Pics up tomorrow my camera is just not cooperating today!

When I was checking out Jag's setup, the installer told me they had to do a custom brace as the brace (cage) for the 997tt did not work for some reason (fitment)?

I'm going to be installing the 997 GT2 intake on my setup. I am hoping this is a rare case (no offense Corey!!!). It really sucks that you have experienced this though. I plan on testing mine to a good amount of boost (esp when the motor is built).
It's hard to tell from that photo, but is the 997tt intake composite like the 996tt? I was looking at the 997 gt2 intake because I discovered my intake had a huge crack on top when removing some stock parts lately (when it rains it pours). Reason I ask is it seems like the gt2 would be a great replacement but your issue scares me. Good luck finding a permanent solution!
Yea i hear you, The GT2 intake is the same so you may have the same issue as me, I really hope that this was just 1 in a Million but who knows.
