The car idles great, Mark's stuff is top notch, his support beyond. He is the man and I'm not trying to be a suck up. He's a great guy like I said above. The cold start idle was fine, it does a occasional surge but its like a 100rpm if even that not 300 or anything crazy like that. The car hauls *** now on WG boost. I'll keep you guys posted. I am working on getting another laptop and a camera.
thats is funny I have the same set-up except a motor build with ported heads, lsd and awd, have beeen running around for 8 months on wastgate 1 bar. It does haul *** a is, but I am getting ready to get it dynoed and turn up the boost. I am happy with the tial 30/76 turbos. I have heard to expect over 800 rwhp.

the turbos in marks kit ,are hybrid gt30's , different from what you have, regular 3076's .

the turbos in marks kit come on faster and pull alot more up top .

when Adams car is done i would love to see back to back comparos of 60-130 times with your car Mike. maybe even a little roll.

i'm torn between K24/18s and the Alpha30s. 18s seem so easy since i have k24s now...

Why don't you put on 20gs.. port , polish, clip the turbine wheel... 1 bar springs... but then you really need the ICs, intake form airbox to turbo...
that has a little more on top then the 18g...especially after 1.2 bar..

that's also an option. at first i am going to use water/meth as a chemical intercooler, then get some nice ICs. i have to do everything in steps as i have recently found myself in a position that will not allow me to buy everything i would like to have all at once. i can't wait to check out Adams car

I would do the 18's or 20's as you already have the K24's. MY next step might just be 20's, IF I can find some intercoolers at a reasonable price...anyone???

USP intercoolers are reasonably priced - and they seem to work well on a few cars I've seen results from including Chris Greens car.

Yeah, those were my fallback as I haven't seen any real "data" on them yet. I suppose for the money they are still better than stock...

$2K to $2.2K for mine.. REAL Bell cores .. casted BIG end end tanks using all of the core across... ( seen many lower end tanks squashed on the ends)...
I can put on fittings for stock hoses, or for 2.25 or 2.5" hoses.. whatever you like. ( even 3").
the data is here... its a no brainer when the cheaper Asian made are $1600.

If thats not affordable meanwhile using good quality cores then IDK what is. I personally pressure test them to 35 PSI and show you the pics as we build them...

stock replacement end tanks

With 2.25" OD tubing for bigger hoses....

some data... same car, same boost, nothing changed...

here is a dyno within 2 hours... nothing changed.... car still stayed on dyno...
93 octane, 18g with stock WGs, 1.1 bar peak, same tune on both runs... only the ICs were swapped...

Run 1 was on our ICs... run 5 and 7 and stock ICs... real numbers.. no BS..
