Markski is the man

So after many months of bending his ear, nagging him with same questions, and changing my mind like a woman in heat I ended up with Mark's Ic's, blow through,fuel, 3076 Tials and a Proto tune. This guy has patience of a saint and answered everything and was brutally honest. If I was heading towards a bad/stupid decision he told me. Bottom line the car is on the road and getting logged and tuned more after I pick up another laptop. Mark is the guy to go to even though he talks a lot
There has been many speculations about the blow through not idling and having issues and such well my car idles great, yes there is the occasional minimal surge but it comes with the territory. All in all after it's 100% tuned it'll be a beast for sure. I'll slowly start making videos of idle and so on. Bottom line is 911tuning+ Proto equals GOLD. The car sounds like a jet by the way

yeah when the car is done getting tuned there will be some vbox times. Prodigynm I am right next to JR and his shop. PM me

Do you hear the turbo's spool louder with the shorter separate intakes? How bad actually is the surging? Every time or intermittent?

Listen smartass work has been crazy and house work, ya she has projects for next 10 years. After these 2 bathrooms I am done. As far as surge none, you'll probably encounter it with a 3071 most likely from what I was told. Turbos are spooling and I can hear them from idle to the top. I have a full 3" catless exhaust. I'd love to come out and make sure you don't invite any CT guys lol
I need to get a laptop finish getting a tune and then its vbox and etown time

We gave Blockhead 3 files to play with... each one has a slight different idle setting.... PROBLEM( if any) is that he has the 80+mm TB and that sometimes throws the idle off a bit(unlike the the 75mm Tb that works better).. I talked to the installer.. he said it idles fine.... he also tried only one file so far....
HEre is my write up I did a while ago on the idle/drivability issues if any on the blow thru... I even did a idle cold start video... this one has the stock TB though....

what supporting mods did you get?

i am looking to do GT30s for next season but keep it very basic at first and then add piping, intercoolers, plenum, larger TB later.

- ClutchMasters Stg3 (Came in last night)
- Tial30s
- 72# injectors (Maybe 044 pump, not sure if its required)
- 3" Straight Pipes
- Water/Meth
- Tune

I went with the same set up, except ep2 loud, if it shows to be too restrictive on the dyno I may change the exhaust. 75mm tb no idle issues. Mark's intercoolers are awesome. and he was great for tech support. and yes make sure that your cell battery is charged when you call him.

CM stage 3, 964rs lwfw, gt2 slave conversion-just wow,injectors, 2nd pump, 4.5" intercoolers,blow through set up, fender well intakes, ipd plenum, big tb, tial alpha 3076, ebc, speedtech 3" catless exhaust I think that's it.
The car idles great, Mark's stuff is top notch, his support beyond. He is the man and I'm not trying to be a suck up. He's a great guy like I said above. The cold start idle was fine, it does a occasional surge but its like a 100rpm if even that not 300 or anything crazy like that. The car hauls *** now on WG boost. I'll keep you guys posted. I am working on getting another laptop and a camera.
