Pss10 settings - street only

Where do you guys like yours? Mine just went in and are on 5/5 but it seems a little soft to me especially after coming from my GTR on KWs. What do you guys recommend?

I run 5 front 6 rear on the street (8 front 9 rear or 10 rear on the track).

I used to run 5/6 on the street; it was a little soft. I now run 7/8, the car is more fun to drive.

Run the front about 3 and the rear about 6. The front of the 996TT is bouncy cause there is no weight. The rear is heavier. I liked this setup.

Q?

Guys -- I was under the impression the smaller numbers were supposed to be stiffer; is that not correct?

Also, to get to the rear adjuster ***** I understand I need to remove the rear carpet inside... any techniques on doing this? I have the bose subwoofers in the back and I can't see an easy way to pull the back deck up.

Input appreciated - itching to play around with my new PSS10 settings!!

The higher the number on the pss10's are stiffer and the opposite for pss9's. I run my pss10's 6 fronts and 8 rears

If you've got the Bose subwoofer you have to remove it. To do so prise off the plastic ports on the subwoofer to reveal a screw under each side. Undo the screws and the sub will pull forward. There is a plug for the wiring at the rear of the sub. Unplug it and remove the sub.

From then on it should be obvious - you lift the carpet to reveal the top of the shocks (not sure if there is a cover over the shocks - haven't adjusted mine yet!).

EDIT: Found this link in my history - should help. http://sharkwerks.com/porsche/techni...2-and-gt3.html
