997 GT2 Seat install
Yep, the latch and the bottom of the shoulder belt is correct. It's just the top that needs to go on the outside.
Those are going to look great in your cab with the carbon backs!

thanks, the interior has always been black/carbon. Even after all day road trips, the seats are mega comfortable and supportive through the twisties!

Everything looks really great. I have sat in those seats and they are very comfortable. If you aren't going to get harnesses you might want to consider a CGLock. They work. I track with them and I only have the GT3 sport seats but the lock really holds you in the seat.
that set up looks great, nicely done. What are the driving impressions with the new seats / steering wheel? I've been thinking of the alcantara wheel, just not sure how it would feel for everyday driving.
An older pic taken during one of our drives near Boulder, CO.

Was invited to a car show a year or so ago, took over a week straight to prepare and ended up driving through the start of a blizzard to the show, the water under the car is melted snow :-( Placed 2nd in class.

Thanks! I will get it back in the spring sometime and should have quite a bit to talk about with the new mods being installed.
Freier, the seats are excellent, I liked the 996 GT3 seats but they pinched my legs on the lower outer thighs, the 997 GT2 seats are mega comfortable, although I am tall in the torso, they do sit a little high, but I'll have the mounts mod'd. They are wonderfully comfortable and solidly built.
The shifter and wheel is very nice but I could see how they could wear quickly and stain easily compared to leather. I scotchguarded mine against the potential coffee spill. I did install the stock sport seats with the GMG-RSR bar and was able to recline enough to take a power nap on a cross country trip.
