997 GT2 Seat install

Thought I would share some pics of my 997 GT2 seat install as well as a GMG RSR roll bar install, DB Carbon bits, 996GT3 alcantara steering wheel and shifter install. Many thanks to those involved, ok, so it wasnt your birthday, but the waitresses weren't bad)

The GMG RSR bar is extremely well made and their support was fantastic, the last bolt was a mother but it definitely stiffened the chassis, the GT2 seats are damn near perfect, maybe 10-15deg more recline and height options, but otherwise very comfortable and easy to drive hard in. We are still working out the sealtbelt wiring issues so stay tuned.

Really digging how the seats give access to the back.

Check out the CF around the sterring wheel housing

The Alcantara steering wheel and shifter add some color and are extremely comfortable to drive with.

Thanks, most of the carbon is from db-carbon-interior.com, Daniel is greta to work with however there are in Germany. The outside door sills are factory and there is a thin clearcoat over the script. The center console is MaCarbon to plug a forum sponsor.

Looks great! Love those seats. Need to find me a pair.

FYI, I would re-do the seat belts. The shoulder belt does not go through the holes in the seat back.

I think in the US, Suncoast has the best deals. Definitely give them a shout, I think they are anywhere from 7-9k pending material.

Would you keep the lap belt through the side holes? I have a seat on order and was wondering this!

Thanks!
