My wife was just hit!
Dear god, that's awful. I know when you bought that car too - we both got in on the same deal. I wish your wife a speedy recovery. Incidentally, I'm planning to sell my e350 to get a 996 turbo. Feel free to pm me if you want 1st shot at it. The good thing is she was driving the Benz. In any other car she'd probably be worse off.
My adjuster just asked if I wanted to pursue a wiplash claim. My wife is home, sore, in bed.
I don't think she has wiplash but she is missing work and has some doctor/medication bills.

This is the adjuster from th other guy's Ins Co right?
No, the gal handling my case from my ins comp asked if I wanted to pursue a wiplash claim.
I am calling an attorney tomorrow. I did a 3rd party DV analysis and it is $7.7K....the gal handling my claim acts like she never heard of DV before. She has offered $20 towards car rental
The other ins comp is trying to call me so it is time to let a pro handle things.

There is absolutely nothing fraudulent about any of our claims. My car is thrashed, my wife is hurt and you need to get your foot out of your mouth.
I think what he means Sean is that ins co. may threaten you with prosecution over a fraudulent claim in order to avoid paying for claims that they feel are excessive or outside the norm.
If he takes my advice, he won't be speaking to either insurance company.
