Garage lifts

Anyone have a good source on the "stacker style" garage lifts. I am in the process of remodeling a house and remember seeing a few photo of that setup.

looks hella scary tho eh? Plus you wouldn't be able to wrench with the single post lift... It's strong enough for an EVO.

I installed a four post Eagle lift about three years ago. Works great. About to walk out and lower the 911 cab since the weather it beatiful in Atlanta today.

the bowlin singlepost's narrow footprint is definitely a space saver at 8'. it can also lift higher than others to 78". good for SUV's on the bottom. although it does look kinda suspect but it costs more than others too...

mohawk's footprint is too wide at 11' and too tall at 12'.

the revolution rise is too low at 6'4 to clear an SUV.

bendpak is too high @12' and too wide @11'.

in general, how does one keep water and oil from dripping onto the car below? also, can it be "manually" lowered if power goes out?

my 3-car garage is 11' tall and 30' wide. i'd sure like to fit 2 lifts side-by-side and turn it into a 5-car garage with an open space!

I like the scissor lift types to save space . They are portable, which seems pretty ideal for a person that only needs to have the car in the air once every few months. Never seen a scissor lift operate so I'm not sure how sturdy they are. Do any of you have this style lift? http://mohawklifts.com/consumer/hr6.php

In CA with earthquakes and all that stuff I'd stay away from the single post lift.
