It's off a 2003 C2. The guy selling it says it will fit the 996 Turbo. Is this true?

 

No that won't fit. Of course, it would help if you posted the picture.

EDIT: If it fits a C4S it should fit a turbo, just make sure the brake vent ducts line up and theres room for the intercooler.

It definitely fits the widebody C4S, what makes the Turbo different that won't allow fitment?

 

Looks like an original RUF-frontbumper. I think it would fit.

The Ruf front bumper for the C4s should fit the turbo, but that's sketch that he had it on a standard C2.

If it's original Ruf, that's badass. CDOC is making some replica's that are on eBay right now, I believe one of the guys from Vivid Racing is selling them as well.

 

Yes its an original RUF bumper that has been removed from a C2 and shares the same part number as the C4S according to RUF. So since the C4S is also a widebody, I assumed, as did the seller, that it would also fit the Turbo....but I want to be 100% sure it will fit before buying it...
