It's a 2002 with 28K.. Mods that I know of so far are 19" HRE wheels, Fabspeed exhaust, H&R coilovers, complete sound system, and diverter valves... Dealer was asking 46,900 and I picked it up for 43,500+tax. I think I did ok because I am happy with the mods and that's more than 10K I won't have to spend modding it

Nice, mind if I ask where you got it from city/state and/or dealer name?

I'm in the market as well and am doing by due deligence in regards to research which is why I ask.

I got it locally in Englewood, Colorado from Koenig Sales LLC but this was the only one they had... It was a consignment car from a customer but they have plenty of vintage Porsches and some other pretty interesting cars in their inventory. I've been searching for a while now and didn't want to travel to find one so when I came across this one, I had to have it. There is another nice example here in Colorado with 17,000 miles but the price was higher than this one and the only mods it had were 18" Champion wheels. Also a nice 2001 GT2 here locally with only 10K miles for under 67,000... I would love to have that one but it is outside my price range. Hope that helps!

Koenig Sales LLC in Englewood, CO... If you like that one, you would love just about everything else that had there... Especially the owners car which is a 57 Speedster!

I did go look at and I passed on that one... I don't know what pictures you're looking at but the actual car is the one with darker colored stock turbo rims.. I think they listed the wrong pictures in their cars.com listing... But the one that I looked at (pics on autotrader) had the third brake light falling out and what appeared to be overspray around the passenger front headlight... I don't know if they actually have two cars with the exact same mileage but different prices there but I'm pretty sure the cars.com one has the wrong pics because that was not the car I saw on their lot. And yes it is the same dealership with the GT2. Sorry I couldn't give you a little more info on that 996tt... I just looked at it from the outside because I got tired of waiting for some assistance after about 30 minutes and left

Yeah... Pretty cool shop they have there... They restore a lot of cars there and their work looks fantastic! That Speedster on their website is the owners car and I believe he's won multiple awards with it.

I looked at the pixs on there site & autotrader; I saw the pixs w/the darker colored wheels. Looks like the person that uploaded them screwed up slightly and posted the last two of a car they sold. Did you notice the red boost hoses and the fact that it was lowered? Carfax states it's a one owner car; which got me interested and no accident record.

I can't remember if it was lowered or not... I also didn't get a chance to check out the engine bay because no one wanted to help me haha I pretty much lost interest in it after seeing some overspray on the rubber that goes around the headlight... I don't know if the car had some paint work done but it appears that it had some kind of work done. I don't know... just those two flaws made me think twice about this car but they may have been corrected by now.. It's been about 3 weeks since I've seen the car.

Someone def screwed up on the interior & engine bay pixs on the ad on autotrader and there comp site. I'm going to ask them for new pixs and close up of the areas you've mentioned. They might have just resprayed the front bumper; or it could be just residue from wax or a detailing.

Sorry to hi-jack your thread.

Could be wax but it looked like paint haha All the cars that I looked at had some wax residue but none of them looked that severe. Yeah I think they screwed up posting the pics because I don't remember this car having sport seats or white gauges... There is a nicer 17,000 mile black one being sold locally as well if you want to check that one out.. no worries about hijacking haha just trying to help.. I know it can be frustrating looking for a car...
