Hey guys!! I don't post much on this website but I do read an awful lot. I am a big car guy and always loved P cars. I am also a big vette guy and would love to have one of each. Maybe in the near future I could pull that off. I really love the 996TT body style and was thinking when I can afford to have both I would try to pick up a mint used 996tt Trip car.

Is there anyone in my area that wouldn't mind meeting up one day so I could get a ride in one and see it up close? This won't be awkward. I'm not a moron. I'd never ask to drive it. I do not want to drive it. I'd never take up more time than the owner had to offer. I won't touch it or be asking a million questions. I'd treat it as if it were my own. If anyone is willing to help out a future owner (hopefully) I'd really appreciate it. Please pm me of just respond in this thread.

Just so I don't waste any ones time I'm always off wed, thurs. so anytime then is good and I'm usually out of work by 6 30pm and home by 7pm. I live in new milford , nj. Thanks guys. : )

I don't see what's so funny. I don't want to waste any ones time and pretend like I am looking to buy right this second. Therefore going to look at 996tt's for sale in jersey would be a waste of the owners time. I have had people on corvetteforum meet up that were interested in a car or part that I had owned. I had no problem showing them and explaining a few things If I had the time. Car enthusiast do that sort of thing. It's just a request.

Hahahaha!!! thegame try finding a used one at a dealer and go test drive it and ask them a million questions. Im pretty sure they wont mind and you could touch it all you want. Thats if you have no luck meeting up with someone on 6speed.

 

LOL Maybe this wasn't the smartest thread. That is true, I always could go to a stealership but most likely they will be talking out of their *** and not really know anything about the vehicle. Anyway for those inquiring about my age I'm an immature 29 year old married guy going on 12. I just thought if there were any members in my area that are real car P car enthusiasts; maybe they wouldn't mind meeting up and educating a fellow car guy and potential owner. I remember a similar thread on a different car forum that I frequent and I happen to live in the guys area. He was debating on which F/I kit to go with and I happened to have one of his choices. We met up and I explained a few things to the guy, went for a ride and his decision was a bit easier on him.

He's a cool guy and we actually kept in touch and still meet up every once in a while to go to the track.

 

your too far from where i am but, look for a local meet or cars n coffee event and try and attend that if you get no responces.

there are a few members in the northeast surely one on here or rennlist would meet up with ya
