so if i run the 24/18 upgrade how much boost should i be running to keep the tippy happy? i assume i can let my tuner know what all my mods are and that i dont wanna make more than 500whp?

again id rather run the 24/18 with lower boost than the 16s maxed out. last thing i need is a blown head gasket.
Perfuseme2,

I like my Miltek, a lot. It sounds absolutely mean at WOT. My wife does not like it, but she doesn't ride in my car very often. There is a little drone somewhere between 2k-3k rpm, but it is VERY brief and the sound at normal driving speeds it sounds nice. As far as how it sounds at WOT, a C6 Z06 owner I raced a few months ago said that I sounded like a freight train as I went past him and pulled away. The only thing I didn't like about my Miltek was the PRICE! If you are looking for more of a quiet sound then you may want to go with the speed tech.

What part of Houston do you live in?

most of them has 3076 turbos
i made also oil cooler which helps above 100km/h , it drops the heat about 10 degrees
torque converter don't touch it no needed

very soon i will make a 996 tip i will let you know the results

the gearbox of 997 and 996 are similar and the valvebody is same
changing the valvebody is making shifting very fast and sometimes very similar to Pdk but you have to upgrade also the tcu to get better results

P.S. don't forget to control the central differential oil because the weakest part of the car is center diff . if the oil is not red then problem starts.
997tt has different cental diff than 996tt . i have also reinforced 997tt center diff .

Sound interesting

Interested too. New tip owner with mods in mind but my turbo has a tip too. The build sheet says Tip S - is that different than a normal tip?
