Quiet Tires?

My stock pirellis have 11,000 on the fronts and 5,000 on the rears and I can hardly stand to drive on Colorado's crappy highways due to the road noise. Considering PS2's but I read they get noisy too. Any advice, I like to hear the radio when I'm stuck in traffic.

I have the same problem. Have good tread left and the noise is horrible. Our roads here are great (south Florida) and they still suck. I am going to hold out as long asI can and switch to the Michelins like the gentleman said. He concurs with all my research

My P-Zeros were noisy as hell from mile one.

I have about 2500 miles now on my Michelin PS Ribs, and they are *very* quiet! They handle great too.

I'm really starting to like my Bridgstone SO-2A tires. The handling is great and the tires are alot quiter than the P-zero's.

I have about 7000 miles on my Michelin Pilot Sport Ribs. Still quiet and handles great.
The Pilot Ribs are Porsche approved for the Turbo, the PS2's aren't.
The PS2's are approved for the GT2 and GT3 from what I've read.

Cool

Love my Michelins Sport Ribs OE.
Replaced the rears at 12,000 and the fronts have 19,000 and are @ 3/32".( PCA minimum)
I have the 2 new fronts sitting and ready to go.
Best tires I've ever had in 33 years of owning cars.

You mean PS ribs, right?

The Rib and the PS2 are not at all alike. Most Porsche PS2 sizes are N-spec, and the Rib is a Porsche-only tire. But both do carry an asymetrical (as opposed to a directional) tread design, which does quiet a tire down..at least for awhile.

You can expect any tire you buy for this car to get a bit noisier as it wears, that's just the way it is. Of what we carry, the PS2 seems to be reported as the quietest out there.

Hi. If we order from you on tire rack, would we get a different price than the price on the website?

Thanks.
