Suspension Comparison: Turbo S vs Turbo...

It is assumed that the suspension systems in stock Turbo S and standard Turbo are the same...can someone comment o this? In the tech specs the Turbo S is described has also having anti-roll bars both front/back while the standard Turbo does not...true or false? Also, would the X73 kit be subsatntially diff from stock in the Turbo S?

Thanks in advance and appreciate any inputs...

i thought the Turbo S came with Row M030. i might be wrong cuz we did some work on a S and that car was like suv height.

Unless the X73 was specified, the Turbo S comes with the same suspension as the regular turbo.

They both have antiroll bars front and rear and are pretty substantial.

Hugely different. I would recommend getting a ride in an X73 car before you go that route (lots of people on this board have it - maybe someone will offer). An enormous improvement in handling, but much firmer ride. Also about 1.5" lower, so more prone to scrape on driveway entries etc. I had it on my car for maybe a year, and loved it (easily the single best mod I did), but it was just a weekend/track day car.

Bobby: make sure your mechanic also installs the motor mounts that come with the x73 kit. My dealer did not, and I had to go back again and have him do it.

You're gonna love the x73-- what a difference!

I'm having the X-73 installed in about 3 weeks but went ahead and installed the motor mounts this afternoon. Man, what an easy swap. Only took about 45 mins. Can't wait to get the rest finished. I really wanted to do the entire job myself but the fronts sound like a major PITA and it'll need to go in for alignment anyway.

BR7...the Europipe Stage 2 Quiet I think is simply perfect. I now have had it for about a 1000 miles and its "broken-in". The sound is loud, and classy, to command respect yet not offensively loud for the neighborhood. No drone or resonance. Blips on downshifts will get everyone's attention and wet your pants. What more do you want me to say...???
