the plan is to enjoy the car to the fullest, im doing my homework on exaust setups and will be going with a race/loud type. Is there potential legal issues running a loud exaust ?

Im going to be far from conservative with a porsche, dont have an ounce of pitty for envious police officers who hate thier jobs

I got to hear one of the Protomotive systems this weekend for the first time. It sounded INCREDIBLE. If I was shopping it would be my only choice.

how does it sound compared to straight pipes?

 

I would not do straight pipes on this car a nice loud exhaust, switzer, BBI, GMG etc Euro pipes sound good too

 

Who's running todds new x pipe ?

 

We have countless *LOUD* 911s running around here, no issues with the cops if you drive sensibly when they are watching! Let me know if you'd like some recommendations...

 

A guy named Brad is running it on his 24/18 car. Not sure if he is on 6speed or not. It sounds REALLY good. Very very clean.

 

Markski (911tuning), SpeedTech, BBI, Proto. X-flow systems are the way to go. For you (like me) 3" cat-less will work well.

 

driving carefully is a MUST with the money im going to throw down on rims, just want to open her up " at times"

 

Markski's exhaust sounds badass. To be honest, coming from vipers and corvettes, I was always disappointed with the sound of the turbo. But the x style exhaust is the best I've found to make the car sound 'ok', close to a gt3 type sound. Even with straight pipes the car isn't that loud, but it drones like crazy and will drive you insane. Go with some of those mentioned here, just dont expect v8 like growl or a gorgeous tone like other exotics.
