I just primed it with Lowes spray paint and painted it with whatever red spray paint matched the best. It's holding up great! It's not a high heat or wear part so cheap works!

I have some red hoses I will be putting on soon as well! Hope that helps dress up the bay!

I wish I would have lowered my engine also,, it would have made the plenum swap easier..LOL
Also Protomotive changed my location of the N75 vacuum port to the side when he made the stock Y-pipe the same size of the 74TB..

Thanks Chad! John scared me a little with the whole strip and prep thing. I'm sure that is the better way to go, but if a simple primer and paint holds up, I will likely go that route to save time.

LOL ..What I said was prep work, clean and scuff for adhesion.. Which should also be done for primer also.
Ceramic paint is chemical and heat resistant,,, engine paint..
I know summer in the city in continus hot weather will bubble normal paint on engine parts, Maybe not the Y pipe?

Yeah John's way is probably the best, but it really sees no wear - it's pretty much covered up the whole time. Only time I have had to touch it up is after I work on things or removed it. But just a quick spray and done!

Bumping an old thread. What have people used as an alternate hose for the N75 to the y-pipe? Mine looked ragged so I ended up just cutting it to get the pipe out because I knew it needed replaced. If someone found a better one to give a little more play, would love to know.
