EVOMS Thread Deleted?
EVOMS Thread Deleted?
Seems we were touching on meth and engine failure, and now it is gone.
Ben, ball seems to be in your court to green light EVOMS telling us what happened. What's the holdup?

Semantics. It was deleted at the OPs request.
Just my personal belief but once other people engage in a discussion, the OP no longer 'owns' nor controls the thread. Deleting a thread for any reason seems to be 'revisionist'- what was said was said, cannot unsay it.
I'd like to see a 'closure' post and then lock it, but the info belongs to the members- present and future.
Of course when you run a purely promotional forum, that kind of policy will not sit well with Sponsors.

i kinda gree with both of you , i also asked and want to see how meth cuased the failure. but instead it just gets swept under the rug.
my guess is , evoms told him take the thread down and we will help you out etc etc.

closing or removing a thread at the original posters request has always been a courtesy extended to members...there is nothing revisionist or subordinate about it either to one member in preference to another or to a vendor/sponsor...some people like to see conspiracy everywhere...if the op asks for it to be put back up and closed it can be done

It *IS* revisionist... it is NOT a conspiracy of you Chuck,or of other mods and Admins- it is part of the manipulation of content by Sponsors.
In this case the OP most likely was 'asked' by EVOMS- work with us, etc, etc
Elsewhere as a mod I will not allow this to happen- you post, it becomes part of the record.
You say this is a courtesy extended to members, I say it allows 6speed to be manipulated to coerce vendors, since a vendor knows they can 'buy off' a correction.
Different philosophy, good and bad to both approaches- but members just need to understand that they are not really seeing an accurate picture.

Nick ,i am pretty sure that is not how it went....especially considering the meth was installed after the car left Evoms facility.
