driver would play a huge roll.
the TT is a bit heavier due to the all wheel drive , not sure where you are getting your info rob, also ,your telling me the 996 tt has a better power under the curve ? LMAO are you serious dude ? the supra motor revs to all hell.
they can do so much more with the supra motor , its been out forever .

I just happen to have raced a 880rwhp Supra when I was making the same power in TX. I was also RWD and our cars weighed pretty much the same. I won the first two races (he claimed he spun both times), and he won the 3rd (I missed 4th). Overall the cars were very, very close.

If you google weights of both cars the Surpa is always heavier, not by much but it is always heavier. Secondly, torgue under the curve is always better in a Porsche. Third, I have raced many Supras that claim to make equal or more power than mine and say 9 out of 10 races I have won. It will be proven again in March.

Porsche has a little better power curve, however I good driver will keep the Supra in its sweet spot.
If both drivers are excellent then it is a draw. If both drivers are average the Porsche.

Yes, you are correct! His car was a 900 RWHP black supra. I raced him on several occasions and each outcome was the same. He sold his car about a year ago after having another baby.

I am bias but i would say supra but if i had to put money down i would say 996 all day thats if we are talking about awd... but this is coming from a supra with only 900 hp not queit 1000 let alone 1000 to the wheels...What do 996's rev to because i know heavily modded supras are good for at least 8300-7500rpms like me
