Daytona 24 hrs

I haven't been able to find any type of porsche corral for the 24 hrs. I guess they (PCA) only do the corrals for ALMS.

PCA host, I believe, the only car corral that sits alongside the track at Daytona during the 24. Usually it's easy to find next to the giant ferris wheel. Located between the two horseshoe turns. Fits over 150 Porsches. No extra charge to park in the corral, just need to have a Porsche, no exceptions.

Having attended the past two years (in a rental car unfortunately), I can tell you that on Saturday, it usually fills up by 9AM.

You have to have your PCA member card too. Just printed a copy of mine to get in.

So my brother and I can park inside the corral with our turbo? Just need to have our pca card and pay for infield parking?

Yes, but they never asked for my PCA card. When is the race anyway?

I believe the corral is open to any Porsche owner who brings their Porsche. We figure if you're not a member coming in, we'll do our best to make you one before you leave

There's always an enclosed tent with a flat screen showing the closed circuit tv feed as well as some drinks and snacks. Watching the race on tv in the tent with the sound of the cars going around on the outside gives new meaning to a home theater sound system.

How do you get your car inside the infield parking? Can I purchase a infield parking pass ahead of time or is it something available when we arrive?

Last year it was on the infield side of turn 3... pretty good turnout and there was a super nice red slantnose...
