Do most tunes go upt to 1.0 bar or to 1.2 bar...assume the car is an X50 without many mods at all? Maybe exhaust and air filter etc...running pump gas 93 octane...

first, find a tuner you trust. then do all the research you can, because at the end of the day no tuner is paying for your engine rebuild... 1.0 bar would be safe with what you have ,IMO

Gents, The boost is not the problem. It's the quality of the air. Those small compressor housing make a lot of heat. They make IAT well over what a gt28 at the same boost psi makes. Cooler denser air makes power. High IAT first the dme will try to pull boost (1 bar springs cracked down, not happening) then pull timing and added fuel to help cool things off.
