DIY oil change completed

Just completed my 1st annual oil change using Mobil1 TDT 5-40. Everything went according to plan. The toughest part was holding the box end wrench and torque wrench at the same time. Immediately, i noticed a reduction in IMS noise. what a welcome change.

Thanks to all who recommended the TDT oil

fortunately, no mess. If you look closely at pic 2, you will see layers of towels JUST IN CASE I got sloppy.

+10. First time I changed my oil I was caught completely off guard and I just had to laugh. No amount of frantic reaching for paper towels was going to make much of a difference so I just let it flow and spent the next 30 minutes cleaning up!

No kidding. I got lucky and no mess, but it was close. What a monster flow rate.
