Looks like a sweet app that uses the iPhone as the video,GPS, data integrator.

 

Nope, but now that I know about it, I'm definitely giving it a shot when I next hit the track.

 

I installed the Pro version and it does video with map/timer/speed overlay. Tried it on my way to work and it works great! I orderd the Tom-Tom GPS mount which is said to boost the accuracy and offers a great-robust mount. The iphone4 gives a excellent picture but need to test this all at speed (LagunaSeca March 25th). Pretty powerful for the money spent <$100 including software and GPS mount.

 

I could not get that to work at my track, so I tried the "Track Pro" app which worked great and now also allows video at the same time, compared it to a transponder and it was really close within 100th/sec. With the Track Pro you just turn the app on and start driving it finds what track your on.

Miller Motorsports park wasn't on it, and i couldn't get it to record laps, I would like to see work, but there is really nothing you can do wrong is there?

Miller Motorsports is not yet in the database, I will add it till weekend. You can setup a track definition on your own. Please check the tutorial available here.

This looks like a fantastic app. Would/should be huge with the karting community. Too bad it isn't available on Windows Phone 7...

 

I saw a guy who is a member with me at Harris Hill Road San Marcos have his Iphone mounted on his windsrceen with Harry's lap timer. The video looked great and the times were looking accurate.

Just uploaded a 31 POI track set to the server. It covers the main course configuration of Miller Motorsports Park and includes three sectors.

To load, please update your Add-Ons list and download Miller Main.
To use it, just mount your iPhone near the windscreen, start LapTimer and drive. LapTimer will start automatically once it detects the triggers defined in the track set.
